MetS had optimistic correlations with a number of anthropometric variables, metabolic variables [triglyceride, gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT), homeostatic model assessment of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR)], and systolic blood strain, cardiac parameters, an index of cardiac age and CAS, whereas had a unfavourable correlation with high-density lipoprotein ldl cholesterol.
