Assay principle: Cu2+ can be reduced to Cu+ by protein under alkaline conditions. Cu+ can combine with the BCA reagent and form a purple complex, which has a maximum absorption peak at 562 nm. The OD value is proportional to the protein concentration. The protein concentration can be calculated indirectly based on the OD value at 562 nm.
